Tariq Ahmad, Baron Ahmad of Wimbledon

Tariq Mahmood Ahmad, Baron Ahmad of Wimbledon is a businessman and a British Conservative Politician. Ahmad is the third Muslim life peer for the Conservative Party in the House of Lords[1] and was appointed as the Vice chairman of the Conservative Party for Cities in 2008. He has held various local posts as a councillor and politician.[2]

He was the Parliamentary Candidate for the General Election 2005 for Croydon North.

Ahmad is a member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. He is a British Pakistani.[3]
